May 7, 2021 · 1 Minute ReadMana Public Arts and Jersey City Mural Arts Program proudly announce the first ever Jersey City Mural Festival, set to take place from June 4-6. In partnership with Mayor Steven M. Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council, and the Office of Cultural Affairs, the festival seeks to provide a platform for local and international street artists, and to strengthen and support community initiatives all leading to more vibrant neighborhoods and cities.
The festival is set to feature muralists reimagining 30+ walls with their creativity talents all across the Journal Square and Hamilton Park neighborhoods. See the lineup below.
Additionally, the festival will include a variety of events and activities such as live entertainment, a beer garden, food trucks catered by local restaurants and more.
The mural festival has the goal of supporting small businesses across Hudson County that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held in strict adherence with the COVID-19 guidelines set by the State of New Jersey, with masks and proper social distances required for all in attendance.
